How to Keep Your House Clean With Pets: Dogs or Cats?
Alright, so we want to keep our home clean, but it’s almost impossible with these little fur balls running around. Every single time we clean something we turn around and it’s dirty again. And if it’s not that, it’s something else! It’s a never ending cycle.
I am kind of a clean freak and try to keep everything looking perfect all the time, so it can be hard for me to let things go…but you can’t be cleaning your appliances after each use either.
Here are some tips you can use to keep your home looking great without cleaning every 30 seconds!
Get a good vacuum
The most important thing you will need to keep your house clean with pets is an awesome vacuum. Not only will a quality vacuum do a better job, it will also save you time. There are plenty of great vacuums out there, but our favorite for pet owners is the Shark True Pet because it does a great job at picking up pet hair.
Get Swiffer dusters
You can use any dusters really, but these are the most convenient. Plus, they do a good job! These will make it easy for you to dust in no time.
Get a flat mop
Those paw prints aren’t going to wipe themselves off the floor and getting down on your hands and knees all the time isn’t always fun. That is why we are going to need a good flat mop.
You will obviously need a good cleaner to go along with that and different products are better for different floors, so you should do some research based on the type of floors you have in your home to make your job easier. There are plenty of eco friendly products that work well on all surfaces, such as thieves, but as long as you do your research — you really can’t go wrong!(You will also need some microfiber towels to wipe any corners/baseboards and wipe any other surfaces.)
